He loves to spend time at home with his family or visiting his grandparents house. His favorite foods are spicy chiprs, Kentucky Friend Chicken, pizza and chicken nuggets. Ethan has a loving support system including his parents, grandparents, his aunt and his teachers and nurse from his school.

Diagnosis

The first symptom that Ethan's parents noticed that made them feel some concern was that he had a dramatically decreased appetite and when he did eat, he would get sick and vomit most of his meals back up. . He began losing his ability to speak and walk. On September 6, 2024 his family's life changed forever when they took Ethan to the emergency room and got the most devastating news imaginable. He was quickly airlifted that same night from his home in Grand Bahamas to the capital, Nassau in hopes of finding more advanced care for his rare diagnosis. He spent a few weeks there before he was able to fly out of the Bahamas to St. Jude. At St. Jude, Ethan's treatment journey truly began and he had additional scans and then brain surgery on October 3rd. Ethan underwent 30 rounds of radiation and began a clinical trial, but unfortunately, the trial was too hard on him so he was taken off the trial. His family continues to travel from the their home in the Bahamas to St. Jude in hopes of additional treatment options since his last scan showed that his tumor is progressing.

Ethan's family will travel to the ends of the earth in search of answers and hope for their precious son and the Archer Foundation is proud to stand along side the Lewis family as they journey as far as necessary for more good days.
